CEPES presents the third edition of the Study "Analysis of the Socio-Economic Impact of the Values and Principles of the Social Economy in Spain". Its aim is to make visible and quantify the differential contribution that the Social Economy makes to society as a whole, measuring its impact on employment and territorial cohesion. Its data are official and are extracted from the Continuous Sample of Working Lives. Its methodological development is widely supported by the scientific community and has been published by the United Nations and the OECD. This study has been co-financed by CEPES, Ministry of Labour and Social Economy and CAJAMAR.

Madrid will host on February 9 the presentation of the book 'How alliances strengthen the social economy', written by África Ariño, holder of the Joaquim Molins Figueras Chair of Strategic Alliances at IESE Business School, Xavier López, consultant in Alliances and Social Economy; Teresa Buxeda, research assistant at IESE; Jordi Carillo, manager of the José Antonio Segarra Foundation and business consultant; and Esperanza Molins, director of the Joaquim Molins Figueras Foundation. The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, author of the prologue of the book, will give a presentation. It will be at 6:00 p.m. at the headquarters of the business school in Madrid (Camino del Cerro del Águila, 3).

CEPES presents the report 'The Social Economy in postgraduate university education. Academic year 2022-2023'. According to this report, in the academic year 2022-2023, Spanish universities have offered 76 postgraduate training actions, 19 chairs and 3 doctorates related to the social economy, which represents a total of 98 actions. The document, carried out annually by CEPES, shows the different modalities of existing training in the field of social economy, including both courses directly linked to this business model and those that contemplate the social economy within their programming and curricula or that focus on any of its different legal modalities

Yesterday, CEPES organized a Conference to make visible the results of the Studies that CEPES and its partners COCETA, LABORPAR, FAEDEI and REAS have developed in 2020 with funding from FUNDAE, SEPE and the Ministry of Labor and Economy Social, within the framework of the Plan to Promote vocational training for the Social Economy and the Self-Employed, which was presented on November 18 by Minister Díaz. At the conference, senior officials from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy were present, who verified that the Social Economy is in the Roadmap of the Future Employment Law and other Strategies that the Ministry is finalizing.

CEPES has presented today two studies thanks to the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, FUNDAE and SEPE: 'Analysis of the digital transformation of training for the Social Economy' and “Approach of Young People to the Social Economy, as an opportunity access to the labor market ”act was presented by the president of CEPES; Juan Antonio Pedreño, and counted on the participation of the managing director of FUNDAE, Antonio de Luis; the general director of Autonomous Work, Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility, Maravillas Espín; and the general director of SEPE, Gerardo Gutiérrez. Both studies are part of the Plan to Promote Vocational Training in Self-Employment and the Social Economy, presented by the Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz on November 18, endowed with 3.4 million euros.

Training will be one of the pillars of reconstruction according to the Plan to Promote Vocational Training in Self-Employed Work and the Social Economy approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy. CEPES is one of the protagonists of this Plan that consolidates and articulates the incorporation of representative entities of the Social Economy into the Vocational Training for employment system. Thanks to the support of FUNDAE, CEPES has launched the Campaign "Follow in the footsteps of the Social Economy, the company of the future" and is also developing three ambitious studies that aim to anticipate the training needs of workers in the Social Economy and establish the foundations of a global transformation, led by modernization, digitization, driven in turn by advances in artificial intelligence and robotics.

CEPES publishes one more year the Report 'The Social Economy in postgraduate university training. 2020-2021 academic year ', which shows that currently 65% of Spanish universities have postgraduate studies on entrepreneurship, creation and management of Social Economy companies (specifically 50 of the 76 universities associated with the Conference of Rectors of Universities Spanish (CRUE) and the recently created International School EDIS). From the 201-2016 academic year, there have been 29 postgraduate training actions to the 140 currently existing, in addition to three doctorates

CEPES presents the study “The contribution of the Spanish Social Economy to the SDGs. IV Report on the experience of Social Economy Companies in Development Cooperation 2017-2019 ”, prepared and disseminated thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and the Ministry of Labor and Migration and Social Affairs. The report collects data and more than 50 business experiences of the Social Economy that demonstrate the commitment of this business fabric to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a greater impact on those related to employment, the reduction of economic inequalities and social, local development, gender equality, access to quality education for all people or the inclusion in the labor market of groups in exclusion.

The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) has presented the study 'The Analysis of the Socio-economic Impact of the values and principles of the Social Economy in Spain', with the aim of making visible and quantifying, with official sources, the differential contribution that , through a more sustainable economic growth, the company model of the Social Economy makes the whole society. CEPES publishes today the new edition of the report 'The Social Economy in postgraduate university education: academic year 2019-2020' which indicates that 65% of the universities consulted take a course on entrepreneurship, creation and management of Social Economy companies. The study carried out includes a total of 131 postgraduate training actions and 3 doctorates that are being offered in this academic year. The report for the first time collects information on 15 chairs of Social Economy active in Spanish Universities.

According to the study by CEPES, 28 Spanish universities have in the current academic year with an offer of 74 postgraduate training options related to the Social Economy
