THE SOCIAL ECONOMY IS A KEY ENTERPRISE ACTOR IN DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION POLICIES
This was confirmed in the meeting held between the president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, and the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and for Ibero-America and the Caribbean, Fernando García Casas, in which the CEPES proposals were presented to the V Master Plan of the Spanish Cooperation and the 44 Social Economy projects developed in 23 countries worth 13 million euros, which have improved the lives of 44,000 people and 9,500 families, helping them to build a more favorable environment in their countries. It was also found that the Social Economy companies are involved in the fulfillment of 14 of the 17 objectives of the UN Sustainable Development Agenda.
