Yesterday, CEPES organized a Conference to make visible the results of the Studies that CEPES and its partners COCETA, LABORPAR, FAEDEI and REAS have developed in 2020 with funding from FUNDAE, SEPE and the Ministry of Labor and Economy Social, within the framework of the Plan to Promote vocational training for the Social Economy and the Self-Employed, which was presented on November 18 by Minister Díaz. At the conference, senior officials from the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy were present, who verified that the Social Economy is in the Roadmap of the Future Employment Law and other Strategies that the Ministry is finalizing.

CEPES has presented today two studies thanks to the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, FUNDAE and SEPE: 'Analysis of the digital transformation of training for the Social Economy' and “Approach of Young People to the Social Economy, as an opportunity access to the labor market ”act was presented by the president of CEPES; Juan Antonio Pedreño, and counted on the participation of the managing director of FUNDAE, Antonio de Luis; the general director of Autonomous Work, Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility, Maravillas Espín; and the general director of SEPE, Gerardo Gutiérrez. Both studies are part of the Plan to Promote Vocational Training in Self-Employment and the Social Economy, presented by the Minister of Labor and Social Economy, Yolanda Díaz on November 18, endowed with 3.4 million euros.

Training will be one of the pillars of reconstruction according to the Plan to Promote Vocational Training in Self-Employed Work and the Social Economy approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy. CEPES is one of the protagonists of this Plan that consolidates and articulates the incorporation of representative entities of the Social Economy into the Vocational Training for employment system. Thanks to the support of FUNDAE, CEPES has launched the Campaign "Follow in the footsteps of the Social Economy, the company of the future" and is also developing three ambitious studies that aim to anticipate the training needs of workers in the Social Economy and establish the foundations of a global transformation, led by modernization, digitization, driven in turn by advances in artificial intelligence and robotics.

CEPES publishes one more year the Report 'The Social Economy in postgraduate university training. 2020-2021 academic year ', which shows that currently 65% of Spanish universities have postgraduate studies on entrepreneurship, creation and management of Social Economy companies (specifically 50 of the 76 universities associated with the Conference of Rectors of Universities Spanish (CRUE) and the recently created International School EDIS). From the 201-2016 academic year, there have been 29 postgraduate training actions to the 140 currently existing, in addition to three doctorates

According to the study by CEPES, 28 Spanish universities have in the current academic year with an offer of 74 postgraduate training options related to the Social Economy
