The Intergroup on Social Economy of the European Parliament, in a telematic meeting held yesterday before more than 400 personalities from the community institutions, from the Member States and from the entities of the Social Economy, places the European Action Plan for the Social Economy as a pillar of social and economic reconstruction after the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) claims its presence in the Commission for Social and Economic Reconstruction of the Congress of Deputies, since it is a contradiction that this Commission does not contemplate in its debates the presence and defense of the interests of Social Economy companies and what they can mean for the economic reconstruction of Spain (cooperatives, labor companies, mutual societies, fishermen's guilds, special employment centers, insertion companies and disability associations).

The Board of Directors of the Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) has exposed, during a meeting with the third vice president of the Government and Minister of Economy and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, the priorities of the Social Economy companies in the plans for social and economic reconstruction to face the consequences of COVID-19. During the meeting many topics related to Business Financing, ICO Lines, European Reconstruction Fund, Multiannual Framework 2021-2027, among others that are detailed in the press release, will be addressed.
