Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España is the representative organization of agri-food cooperatives. It carries out its representative activity before national and European organizations, institutions and associations related to the agri-food sector and the social economy.
Our Mission is to promote, represent and structure the Spanish agri-food cooperative movement, promoting a business cooperative model, professionalized, with dimensionA relevant, value-generating and competitive organization that contributes to improving the profitability of our partners, farmers and ranchers, and to the sustainable development of the agri-food sector and the rural environment.
Data from the Socioeconomic Observatory of the Spanish Agrifood Cooperatives (OSCAE),Prepared by Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España in 2021, they show that there are 3,669 cooperatives, whose turnover exceeds 38,400 million euros, made up of more than one million member families and that generate 123,700 direct jobs.
