EUROPE PRESENTS: 2012 INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF COOPERATIVE

There will be a press conference organized by COOPERATIVES EUROPE, an organization representing European Cooperatives. It brings together 99 national and sectoral unions of 37 countries, representing a total of 160,000 cooperatives, 123 million members and 5.4 million jobs.

The press conference will take place in Brussels between 13h00 and 14h00 next Thursday January 12. During the meeting, will present the report by COOPERATIVES EUROPE cooperative sector with proposals to create jobs and sustainable growth since the 2020 strategy. It will also have assistance from theorganizations responsible for worker cooperatives, banking, agriculture, consumerand housing.
