CEPES accompanies the new director of Social Economy in taking office

CEPES President, Juan Antonio Pedreño, and his entire Board accompanied Miguel Angel Garcia Martin in the inauguration of his new position as CEO of Self-Employment, Social Economy and Social Responsibility of companies

Madrid, January 17: The Chairman of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, and his entire board accompanied Miguel Angel Garcia Martin in the inauguration of his new position as CEO of Self-Employment, Social Economy and Responsibilitysocial enterprises.

The event, chaired by the Minister for Employment and Social Security, FatimaBañez, held last January 17 at the headquarters of the Ministry.

Martin Garcia, a journalist also studied Sociology at the UNED. From September2008 until now served as general director of Coordination Unit of the Community ofMadrid, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Territorial Council of the System for Autonomy and Care Unit of the Ministry of Health .

The new director of Social Economy has agreed to charge thanks to the recent move to suppress the bodies by which the General Directorate of Traffic, Media andPublic Diplomacy Ministry of Foreign Affairs, self-employment, Social Economy andCorporate Social Responsibility : Communication, Architecture, Housing and Landshould not be public officials.

The event was attended by numerous personalities, including Peter Nunez includecounselor Morgades Social Affairs of the Community of Madrid, Marcos Peña, president of CES, Regino Planel, Minister of the Presidency and the mayor ofVélez-Málaga, Francisco Delgado Bonilla.

The Minister for Employment and Social Security, Fatima Banez, thanked the newly appointed senior his "courage and generosity" in accepting the job, while emphasizing "his technical training and ability to dialogue", "something veryimportant in these moments, given the economic situation that faces thedepartment, "Banez said.
