(Madrid, March 22, 2013.) - The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) welcomes the recent adoption of the Draft Basic Law on Social Economy of Portugal, which will strengthen the sector made "?"?to the law of that country.
With this Act, as are two member states of the European Union that have specific rules of Social Economy. The first was the Spanish Law 5/2011, Which served as a reference and guide for Lusa Act, with which it shares many features in common. In Belgium there are a set of laws within the regional framework of Wallonia, Flanders and Brussels, and on the other hand, France has announced that it will soon have a law regulating the Social Economy gala.
These laws are in addition to the law already in effect in Mexico, strengthening this business model worldwide.
The Basic Law Portuguese is a very short text, which are set forth the general basis of the legal regime of the social economy, and measures to promote this sector.
