(Madrid, February 11, 2015) .- The Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) welcomes this Royal Decree published in today to facilitate the creation of social economy enterprises such as cooperatives and labor companies. Its entry into force will be within three months.

The DUE includes the data to be sent to government records and to start a business, electronically and in one procedure. It can be accessed through the Points of Attention to the Entrepreneur (www.paeelectronico.es) and the Single Window (www.eugo.es).

The Official Gazette (BOE) has today published the Royal Decree that extends the use of DUE to the development of cooperatives, civil societies, community property, limited partnerships and business entrepreneurs with limited liability. Until now, you could only use this electronic procedure to create new limited liability company, limited liability partnership and sole proprietors.

"From CEPES seems a positive step as we expect the process to the creation of social economy companies expedite" says Juan Antonio Pedreño.

DUE allows companies to create a simple procedure also reduces the administrative burden (an average annual cost savings of 21.2 million euros is calculated if a notarial instrument is used to form the company and in the opposite case, 9.7 million euros, according to information provided by the Government.

CEPES also welcomes the announcement of the Deputy Prime Minister, who announced that, following approval of the DUE, "in the near future" will proceed to reform the current system of single window.
