To provide specialist advice on Social Economy formulas, especially cooperatives and labor companies
The pioneering initiative in Spain is part of the collaboration agreement signed by both entities last June
(Madrid, August 25, 2015) .- The Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) in collaboration with the Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy (CEPES) have launched the 'I Specialist Course in Integral Advising the company Social Economy (cooperatives and labor) '.
This course, a pioneer in Spain, will aim to educate and train lawyers to provide expert legal advice on formulas of social economy, especially cooperatives and worker-owned companies.
Through 150 classroom hours, the course will show the specifications of both types of companies in the commercial, labor, economic, accounting and taxation.
"This course is intended to improve understanding between the law of the specificities of social economy enterprises, who sometimes find it difficult to find expert legal advice," said the president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño.
The course is the result of the collaboration agreement signed between the ICAM and CEPES on 18 June, to spread the opportunities that involves -for madrileña- formulas lawyers specializing in social economy, especially cooperatives and labor societies advice.
It will take place in person at the headquarters of ICAM and led by the Director of CEPES, Carmen Comos and the coordinator of the Financial Area of the employer's Social Economy, Elena Valiñani and will have a highly qualified teacher and an expert in these business models.
