CEPES organizes the first online training program for companies on "Responsible Public Contracting"

CEPES organizes the first course on "Responsible Public Contracting" which will be held online in the months of June and July with a duration of 40 hours, with a second edition scheduled for the last quarters of the year. Will train to manage and advise companies, entities and Public Administrations within the bidding processes of the new Public Sector Contracts Law. It is also bonificable through the State Foundation for Training for Employment (FUNDAE).

Madrid, March 15, 2019.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) will organize the first course on 'Responsible Public Contracting', which will be held online in the months of June and July with a duration of 40 hours , a second edition is planned in the last quarters of the year.

According to the President of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño "this is the most complete online course on responsible public procurement that currently exists in the market, based on the new regulations that have substantially modified the contracting system of administrations, and which will help to companies to expand their market niche by accessing the business of public procurement ".

Students who complete the course will obtain training to manage and advise companies and entities in the bidding processes of the new Public Sector Contracts Law, substantially modified and which came into force in 2018. In addition, it adapts to real needs and practices of SMEs in general and of Social Economy companies in particular.

The course, which can be rewarded through the State Foundation for Training for Employment (FUNDAE), will be attended by the best experts in responsible public procurement, such as, among others, Guillermo Yáñez , a trainer and connoisseur of the same since the field of administration and private enterprise, and Santiago Lesmes , head of the Responsible Public Contracting Area in the Social Papers and Transparency Consultancy of 'De Par en Par'.

The course is aimed at :

♦ Professionals from representative entities of the Social Economy that advise on Public Procurement.

♦ Managers of companies that use the procurement platform to bid and participate in public procurement processes.

♦ Professionals from companies in general that have an interest in learning about Responsible Public Contracting.

♦ Personnel of the Public Administrations with interest in matters of Responsible Public Contracting.

"This is an option of practical and real interest for those students who want to master responsible public procurement, properly know the full cycle of hiring and practice real activities in the State Contracting Platform," stressed the president of CEPES.

The course will last eight weeks, with a weekly dedicationApproximately 5 hours a week with a multidisciplinary team that covers the technical, pedagogical and technological aspects of the training, being accessible for people with disabilities. At the end of it, a diploma will be issued to students who prove they have acquired the objectives set in the training.
