Madrid, September 9, 2019.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) today opened the registration period for the II Course on 'Responsible Public Procurement' which, in online mode, will be taught from October 14 until December 15

With a duration of 40 hours over 9 weeks, this training program enables to manage and advise - companies, entities, NGOs and Administrations - in the bidding processes of the new Public Sector Contract Law, which entered into force in 2018. The Course qualitatively adapts to the casuistry and needs of SMEs in general and, in particular, of companies and entities of Social Economy.

The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño , explained that “after the success of the first Public Procurement Course of CEPES, we celebrate this second edition in the face of the growing interest of companies and entities of the Social Economy to participate in Public Procurement processes, substantially modified after the entry into force of Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts ”.

The course is aimed at:

     •  Professionals from representative Social Economy entities that manage and advise on Public Procurement.

     •  Managers and managers of companies that use the contracting platform to tender and participate in public procurement processes.

     •  Professionals interested in learning about Responsible Public Procurement.

     •  Members of Public Administrations with an interest in Responsible Public Procurement.

The course will last nine weeks, with a multidisciplinary team that covers the technical, pedagogical and technological aspects of the training, being accessible to people with disabilities. At the end of it, a diploma will be issued to students who prove they have acquired the objectives set in the training.

All information about the course is available on the CEPES Training Platform ( www.aulacepes.es ), where the official registration can be processed. The enrollment system follows a rigorous enrollment order and, once the established places have been reached, access to the second edition of this course will be closed.
