Madrid, February 27, 2020.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) has been recognized for its contribution to corporate responsibility and the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), within the celebration of the XV Anniversary Publication Co-responsible.
In an event held at the Endesa Auditorium in Madrid attended by more than 700 people, the Spanish employer of the Social Economy received recognition within the Day 'Alliances and dialogue with interest groups. Lessons learned and future challenges', organized by Corresponsables.
The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño , received the recognition together with other companies and organizations and stressed “the commitment of CEPES and its 27 member entities, representing more than 42,000 Social Economy companies, to fulfill the SDGs and secure a planet sustainable and prosperity to future generations ”.
“Social Economy companies are impregnated in their DNA of CSR values, being governed by responsible principles that put people at the center, generating stable, quality and inclusive employment; by demonstrating that it is possible to combine economic and social profitability; and show that another economic model is possible, ”added Pedreño.
Likewise, Pedreño thanked Corresponsables for the recognition “for the contribution made by CEPES and all its partners to the promotion of CSR and the SDGs”.
