CEPES thanks and shows its solidarity with all the professionals and companies involved in the fight against the covid-19 coronavirus. We support the measures taken to help minimize the risks and elimination of the Coronavirus. We appeal to the responsibility of all citizens to alleviate contagion as soon as possible so that the economic effects are also minimized.

Madrid, March 17, 2020.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) expresses its solidarity and appreciation to all the professionals, companies and entities involved in the fight against the covid-19 coronavirus.

“From CEPES we support the measures adopted to help minimize the risks and the elimination of the coronavirus. These are difficult moments, but the most important thing is what we defend every day in the Social Economy: the health and well-being of people ”, stressed the president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño .

CEPES recognizes the value and the immense effort made by its member entities and numerous Social Economy companies in the fight against the pandemic in numerous sectors of activity: health, healthcare, telecare, commerce and distribution, agri-food ...

Likewise, CEPES values the determined commitment made by companies in the Social Economy to telework, flexibility of hours and, as far as possible, the cancellation of travel and travel. "It is the responsibility of all citizens to help stop contagion as soon as possible so that the economic effects are also minimized."
