• The President of the Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) has stated this to the High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty of the Government of Spain, Ernesto Gasco in a meeting held in Moncloa.
• Pedreño specified the commitment and willingness of CEPES and all its partners to work to combat inequalities and poverty that affect children and adolescents in vulnerable situations.
• CEPES is committed to developing actions aimed at complying with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as taking actions to have the Rights of the Child recognized worldwide and to eradicate child labor.
Madrid, November 27, 2020.- The President of the Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES), Juan Antonio Pedreño , held a meeting with the High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty of the Government of Spain , Ernesto Gasco.
At the meeting, Pedreño stressed the commitment of CEPES and all its member partners to implement actions to combat inequalities and poverty that affect children and adolescents in situations of vulnerability.
“CEPES and all the companies and entities of the Spanish Social Economy are firmly committed against child poverty and, together with administrations, civil society and the private sector, advance the objectives of the 2030 Agenda to build a sustainable and prosperous future for the following generations ", Pedreño specified.
CEPES showed the High Commissioner the role that Social Economy companies play in complying with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, where all actions that entail the eradication of child labor and children's rights are of great importance.
