Madrid, February 8, 2022.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES) has launched a Next Generation Technical Office, whose objective is to facilitate access to Next Generation funds , articulated in the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the European Union, to the entities and companies of the Social Economy of Spain and linked to the associative fabric of CEPES.
In this way, this service will accompany more than 43,000 companies and entities, which will receive timely information on calls for aid and relevant news related to the articulation of funds , in order to facilitate the development and orientation of their projects.
The President of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño highlights “the importance of advising and accompanying companies to access the numerous calls that are published in the BOE every day and keeping them informed of the opportunities they have so that they can prepare their projects. This Office is a strategic commitment of CEPES to channel funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan to companies and entities of the Social Economy and will also be of great help to operationalize the PERTE of the Social Economy and Care Economy, whose approval will be imminent " .
In addition, this Office will support Social Economy entities in obtaining additional financing for the tools put in place by the Recovery Plan, with the aim of increasing their solvency. For this, it will supervise the preparation of the projects so that they comply with the guidelines established by the European Commission and those of the different calls of interest.
This service, which has the collaboration of financial entities of the Social Economy (Cajamar, Laboralkutxa, Fiare Banca Ética and Caja de Ingenieros ) to facilitate the financing of the projects, will be provided by the consulting firm LKS Next , in collaboration with International Financial Analysts , to whom the companies and entities of the Social Economy may submit technical queries in relation to the Next Generation funds.
