Madrid,
June 20, 2022.- The Spanish Business Confederation of the
Social Economy (CEPES) celebrates the agreement signed with the Ministry of
Finance and Public Function, which will allow the identification and reduction
of administrative burdens in the creation of social economy companies and the
development of their activity.
The
president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, values this Agreement positively,
which is a reflection of the complicity generated with the Ministry of Finance
and Public Function. "I believe that we are facing a great advance for the
Social Economy, since we have identified administrative procedures that can
contribute to the improvement and development of the Spanish social
economy," adds Pedreño.
As stated
in the document, published last Wednesday in the BOE, the agreement will be in
force until December 31 of this year and, through it, CEPES will help identify
the unnecessary, redundant or excessive bureaucratic procedures and burdens
that weigh on the creation of social economy companies or the development of
their activity, suggest changes or
measures that facilitate their simplification or reduction, and will carry out
informative actions in this regard among the business community.
Special
attention will be paid to the obstacles to entrepreneurial activity in the
social economy, with the analysis of obstacles linked to the rapid and agile
creation of social economy enterprises, to the transformations of commercial
enterprises into social economy enterprises, as well as to aspects of the
different social economy enterprise models in terms of general registries and
incorporation procedures, business
operation and consolidation.
The
explanatory report with the proposals of CEPES to the Ministry on the
procedures identified and the proposals for reducing burdens will be
accompanied by the corresponding estimate of the savings they will generate,
regulations to be modified and competent body.
Likewise,
different events and forums will be held in which the policy of reducing
administrative burdens of the General State Administration will be publicized,
as well as the different projects related to the reduction of administrative
burdens.
In
addition, the Ministry of Finance will carry out advisory and assistance work,
as well as monitoring the work carried out during the term of the agreement.
Also of dissemination and communication about the convention and its results.
This
agreement seeks "the modernization, rationalization and simplification of
administrative procedures, as it promotes the reduction of procedures and
bureaucratic burdens, in addition to facilitating the relationship between
citizens and the Administration, contributes to reducing the administrative
costs of operating commercial activities, helping to improve the
competitiveness of companies and stimulate their development", indicates the BOE.
This
