CEPES urges social economy companies to apply for the aid announced today by the Ministry of Labor endowed with 99.3 million euros

The Spanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES), urges companies and social economy organizations to apply for the aid convened today by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, endowed with 99.3 million euros, whose purpose is to promote innovative social economy projects for the years 2022 and 2023. These grants correspond to the Integrated Plan for the Promotion of the Social Economy, whose regulatory bases have been published this morning in the BOE, within the framework of the PERTE of Social Economy and the Care of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
This is the order of the Ministry establishing the regulatory bases of aid for the Comprehensive Plan to Promote the Social Economy and approving the call for aid for innovative projects for the years 2022 and 2023, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

The aid, which can be requested until January 14, is aimed at companies of the social economy, representative entities of the social economy and groups of entities, which carry out actions in at least two CC.AA seeking to have special impact on SMEs.

These grants are "an opportunity to promote those projects of different types that pursue a common purpose: to strengthen the business fabric of the Social Economy, especially in emerging sectors and contribute to a fair, sustainable and inclusive society through innovation," said the president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño.

Madrid, December 14, 2022.- TheSpanish Business Confederation of the Social Economy (CEPES), urges companies and social economy organizations  to apply for the aid convened today by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, endowed with 99.3 million euros, whose purpose is to promote innovative social economy projects for the years  2022 and 2023  .

These grants correspond to the Integrated Plan for the Promotion of the Social Economy, whose regulatory bases have been published this morning in the BOE, within the framework  of the PERTE of Social Economy and the Care of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.  

Therecipients of these aids are companies  of the social economy, representative entities of the  social economy and groups of entities, which carry out actions in at least two CC.AA, seeking to have special impact on SMEs, as indicated by the Ministry through a statement. 

The president of CEPES, Juan Antonio Pedreño, has indicated that these grants, which can be requested until January 14, are "an opportunity to promote those projects of different types that pursue a common purpose:  to strengthen the business fabric of the Social Economy, especially in emerging sectors and contribute to a fair, sustainable and inclusive society through innovation . We encourage all those companies and organizations that have in mind or have launched a project that is part of the call, to submit their applications. "

The economic activity that is intended to be promoted through this call includes not only projects to promote  collective entrepreneurship,  business transformation,  modernization and technological innovation with social impact and  the field  of agriculture, but also  the  areas of the  social and labour inclusion of vulnerable groups, care  for the elderly and dependents or  social and environmental sustainability.

As detailed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Economy, theIntegrated Plan for the Promotion of the Social Economy includes five investment programmes for interested companies and organisations to present their projects, depending on the nature of their activity and the purpose they pursue: TRANSFORMA_ES, INICITATIVA_ES, IMPULSA-TEC,  ALIANZAS_ES, and SOSTENIBLE_ES.

The business fabric of the social economy includes   cooperatives, economic institutions, tools, insertion companies, social  initiative centres,  offers of employers,  and associations and associations.  foundations with economic activity and that are framed in the principles of Law 5/2011 on social economy.
